About Me Professionally:
I graduated from Oakland University in 2011 with a Bachelor of Science in Health Sciences, Pre-Physical Therapy. After working in a physical therapy clinic for two years, I knew that it wasn't for me. Rather, my experiences as part of the cross country and track & field teams at Oakland led me to my ultimate career path: collegiate coaching. I started off as a volunteer coach at Michigan State University, where I stayed in that capacity for two years. During that time, I began the online Master of Art in Education program with a focus in Sport Leadership and Coaching. After two years at State, I moved on to Butler University in Indianapolis, where I was a part-time assistant coach for one year. In August 2014, I accepted my first full-time coaching position at the University of Delaware. In addition to my undergraduate and graduate studies, I have completed the USA Track and Field Level One coaching certification and intend to complete the Level Two certification in the next year. |
